1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OptionsSimple ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

OptionsSimple is a portfolio tracking and analytics tool designed for covered call options trading. The Platform allows you to:

• → Track open covered call positions and their status
• → Record and manage trade history (rolls, closes, assignments)
• → View portfolio analytics, profit/loss, and performance metrics
• → Monitor options expiration calendars

4. Account & Authentication

You must sign in via Google OAuth to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You agree to:

• → Provide accurate information
• → Maintain the security of your authentication credentials
• → Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• → Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

5. Subscription & Billing

The Platform offers free and paid tiers:

• → FREE — Basic position tracking with limited features
• → PRO — Full access to all features, analytics, and priority support

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to PRO features until the period ends.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• → Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• → Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems
• → Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• → Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform
• → Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Platform

7. Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the Platform. OptionsSimple does not verify the accuracy of position data, strike prices, or premium amounts. The Platform calculates analytics based on user-provided data — inaccurate inputs will produce inaccurate outputs.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by OptionsSimple. Your portfolio data remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OptionsSimple shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

• → Trading losses or missed opportunities
• → Inaccurate calculations or display errors
• → Service interruptions or data loss
• → Unauthorized access to your account

10. Termination

Either party may terminate access to the Platform at any time as described below.

10.1 Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time by contacting support@optionssimple.app. Cancellation of a paid subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for the remaining period. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

10.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you:

• → Violate any provision of these Terms of Service
• → Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• → Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access controls
• → Take any action that could harm the Platform, its users, or its infrastructure

In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate your account immediately without prior notice. For lesser violations, we may issue a warning before suspension or termination.

10.3 Effect of Termination

• → Your access to the Platform ceases immediately upon termination
• → If terminated by us for cause, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period
• → Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account termination
• → Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including limitation of liability, intellectual property, and no-refund terms — will remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. For material changes — including changes to billing, refunds, or data handling — we will provide at least 7 days' notice via the Platform or by email. Non-material changes (such as clarifications) take effect immediately. Your continued use of the Platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must stop using the Platform before they take effect.
